Deal in the open
Say what the listing actually is. Name the city. Use photos you have the right to use. A job post should describe the work. A housing post should describe the place. A for-sale post should describe the item.
Do not paste the same listing across cities where the offer is not available. Do not use the board to dump spam.
Money and meetings
Do not ask someone to pay a fee, wire, gift card, or deposit before they can see the thing or confirm the job. Meet in a public place. The meetup guide links the police pages we could verify.
The $5 CraneBoard fee is the fee to post on this site. It is not a fee a job seeker or a renter should pay to a stranger. Refunds for that $5 fee are on the refunds page.
People
No harassment in messages. No personals. The posting rules list what cannot be offered at all.
Use the Report button on a listing that breaks the rules. If a crime is in progress, call the police.
